About Repent
I commenced my winemaking degree in 1992, the same year Leonard Cohen released ‘The Future’, with its resonant lyrics. After more than 25 years making a lot of chardonnay and pinot noir, in 2017 I was able to access a small parcel of nebbiolo from the Malakoff Vineyard in the Victorian Pyrenees and Repent is the result.

The John family produce pristine nebbiolo from their warm, dry Malakoff Vineyard. The wine had extended maceration to balance the fragrant, maraschino cherry fruit flavours with plentiful, fine tannins, and spent 10 months in old barrels maturing before bottling. Only 120 dozen produced. $180/six pack delivered.
